                 Students underwent a vision test to assess both their eyesight and the sharpness of their vision. A comprehensive examination was carried out to evaluate the visual acuity and overall eye health of the students.

Weekend reflection 3

           On November 28th, a reflection session took place in our seminar hall during the third week, overseen by Miss Leena. The program commenced at 10 am, during which each group representative shared their respective experiences. Lincy, representing SKVHSS Thrikamannamankal, shared insights into their assembly and substitution activities. Amina from SnSM Elampullur recounted her school's experiences during the district Kalolsavam. Subsequently, Ann Merin from SMHSS Kottara discussed her personal experiences.Anju MTHS Arumurikada shared positive and negative experience. Sumaya from MTHS, kottarakara shared her experience and told about the frequency substitution periods. Subin from ST. Marys kottarakara shared their experience. He told about friendly attitude of their principal. Jinsu from Aepmhss irumpangad shared about their past week experience. Amrutha from KNMHSS Pavithrasaram shared their issues like numerous substitution. Lekshmi from MAMHS, chegamanadu . She told about the school activities, IRC program. Then came our turn sini from MTHSS valakom shared our experience. She speaks about our activities held at last weeks and our participation. Geethu and Fathima from VGAHSS Nediyavila recounted their personal experiences. Amala, Arunimala, and Arathi from TBTM HSS Veliyam talked about their students' attitudes. Ashna, Priyanka, and Aswathy from GHSS Pooyalilli shared their unique experiences. Rojan from GHSS Prumkulam shared insights about their adolescent class. Our session concluded at 12 am, and we proceeded to attend optional classes.

Weekly reflection 3

              The internship's third week, spanning from November 20th to November 24th, 2023, lacked significant programs. Additionally, parent-teacher meetings for both 8th and 9th-grade classes took place during this timeframe.

Weekend reflection 2

              Weekend Reflection 2 was conducted on Saturday, November 18, 2023. The sessions were structured according to optional subjects within their respective classes. Our English optional had its reflection session during our class, with Miss Kavya present from 10:30 am to 1 pm.

Megha and Sajin from St. Gregorious discussed a special assembly and prize distribution for Kallosavam, noting an improvement from the previous class. Lincy, Hari, and Parvathi from SKVHSS Thrikamannamankal shared their observational experiences, focusing on a drama performance at their school. Anu and Divya from DVVHSS Thalavoor detailed challenges in classroom management, while Ashna and Jane, visiting St. Mary's Adoor, also faced classroom management issues but found the students friendly. Rahul from Govt HSS Padanilam highlighted his positive teaching experience and the friendly nature of students, even managing 10th standard students. Sneha and Athira from Marthoma Girls Kottarakara discussed their teaching experiences, emphasizing substitution periods and personal teaching encounters. Nazrin from Christ Raj School shared both positive and negative aspects of her experience. Every Friday, a vocabulary-enhancing quiz competition took place. Teena from SMSN Elampullur faced difficulties in seat arrangements and substitution classes. Amilu and Nitya from GHSS Achalumood shared experiences related to classroom management and the childish behavior of students. Gayathri from MAMHSS Chegamanadu shared insights into classroom management and learners' learning levels. Madhav and Johncy from MTHSS Valakom faced numerous substitution periods, while Amurtha from KNNM VHSS Pavithrasaram shared issues related to classroom management.

Weekly reflection 2

        Our teaching practice spanned from November 13 to November 17, 2023. A special rally and assembly for Children's Day were held on November 14, where students who excelled in Kalolsavam received recognition. On November 16, Kareem from Kollam presented old movie songs and mimicry to raise funds for his nephew's treatment. The school organized a Quiz Competition on November 17, and two students progressed to the next level. I introduced a new drama, "The Merchant of Venice" by William Shakespeare, making the second week enjoyable and smooth.

The school organized a Science quiz competition on November 17. We were given the chance to volunteer for the quiz, and two students were chosen to proceed to the next level.

Childrens day

A special rally and assembly were organized in the school on the 14th of November to celebrate Children's Day. The Children's Day message was delivered by the headmistress. Students presented various programs during the event. Those who received prizes in the Kalolsavam were acknowledged, making it a positive and memorable experience.

Weekend reflection 1

                   Following the conclusion of the initial week of our teaching practice, we convened for a weekend reflection at our college. Representatives from 22 distinct schools shared their experiences from the past week. While most had positive encounters, only a few mentioned challenges, such as maintaining discipline in classrooms and facing a lack of facilities in schools.

        The internship's initial phase commenced on November 6, 2023. Marthoma Higher Secondary School, Valakom, was my chosen teaching practice location, along with six other members from various departments. The attendance register was signed both in the morning and evening. Each morning, a brief staffroom meeting covered the day's significant events and duties. Prayer commenced at 10:00 am, and I was assigned classes VIII B . On the first day, students were occupied with midterm examinations. Due to a KSU strike on November 7, 2023, regular classes were canceled, as informed by the headmistress. On the 8th, an adolescent counseling program was conducted by the Health Department of Kollam. The morning of the 9th involved vaccinations for classes V and X, followed by an afternoon anti-drug awareness class led by Sir Shahabudheen from Vimukthi mission. On that day, I taught VIII B during the fourth period. November 10, 2023, I contined the same chapter.During the lunch break, we engaged in serving food, and overall, the first week of our internship unfolded smoothly.

Adolescent counseling

            The Health Department of Kollam organized an adolescent counseling program, which took place over two days. The high school section participated on November 8, 2023, while the UP section was involved on the 9th. The program exclusively targeted girls and placed a primary emphasis on distributing napkins. Furthermore, an informative session on health and hygiene was conducted alongside the distribution activities.

School based practical

 Our school based activity teaching practice starts from November 6. I choose MTHSS valakom as my school for teaching practice. 

I and madhav from English optional, Aneeta, anu and aiswarya from mathamatics optional, sini and megha from physical science optional were the members joined with us.

workshop on project and practical

                Our college organized an orientation class for Practicum and Project work, conducted by Assistant Professor George Varghese Sir from Mount Tabor Training College, Pathanapuram. The session, held in the afternoon on 03/10/2023, proved highly effective as Sir explained each point thoroughly and addressed all our doubts. Amina Nasrin expressed gratitude with a vote of thanks, and the session concluded at 3:30 pm.

Keralapiravi

        We celebrated Keralapiravi on November 1st, featuring various cultural programs. Different departments organized diverse events, with many focusing on traditional cultural performances. Sweets were distributed at the conclusion of the program. Both seniors and juniors collaborated to conduct the enjoyable program.
