School Induction

 As a part of our B. Ed curriculum we are supposed to visit a school to observe and analyse different aspects related to the functioning of school before our teaching practice. I select Marthoma higher secondary school valakom.

On the first day (30 October 2022), we arrived at the school by 9.30. After the morning assembly, the in-charge principal, kujamma mam, gave us an overview of the fundamentals of how the school operates and we signed our attendance. Sam Sir, the English teachers at that school, have been presented to us. To observe their classes, they granted permission. Then we looked at the school's play area, labs, canteen, and adjacent buildings. On the same day, we both attended a lesson taught by Sam Sir. At 3.30 pm, we left the school.

On second day (1 November 2022) Before nine o'clock, we arrived at the school. The teachers assigned us several tasks for the anti-drug march after the morning assembly. We went to Sam Sir's additional class. Different tasks for the same were given to us by the teachers. After that, we take part in the rally. At 3.30 pm, we left the school.

On third day (2 November 2022),we arrived at the school by 9.30. After the morning prayer we got an opportunity to take classes. we successful completed the classes. In the afternoon section we made an enquiry about the clubs and their activities at 3.30, we left the school.

On the fourth day (4 November 2022), we visited the higher secondary of the school. after that we collected datas from the teachers. In the afternoon section we attended got exam duty. At 3.30 we left the school.

On the fifth day (5 November 2022),By 9.30 am, we have arrived at the school. We gathered the last of the information on the school's infrastructure after the morning assembly and signing attendance so that we could prepare our report. The teachers cooperated with us and gave us the knowledge we needed. We took photos for the same purpose. At 3.30 pm, we left the school.

After our school induction we conducted a reflection section at the college. Each one shared the experience of school induction in this section. Reflection section was conducted for three days. Riju sir, Roy sir,Reshma miss, Sivapriya miss take part in this section. Our reflection was on the first day we shared our school induction experience with our friends. it was a nice experience.
